  1. 25th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death. He was in the band Nirvana – those of us that grew up in the alternative rock/punk rock era and are generation X, loved this band and their ability to be different, cutting edge and courageous., and rebellious. Kurt Cobain was a genius and yet had his demons like many people do. And Nirvana wrote in his famous song – smells like teen spirit – teen revolution – all about the exploration of meaning and a meaningless life, childhood pain and angst that most kids could relate to. They considered it the generation’s anthem – even though Cobain did not want that to be the case. He liked to be rebellious like teenagers do.
