October 2:  Your silvery beams will bring love dreams… “By The Light of the Silvery Moon” by Gus Edwards and Edward Madden and sung here by Bing Crosby.  My paternal grandmother Rosamond Sherman was born on this day in 1910 and this song was a huge hit by Billy Murray and the Haydn Quartet. (Also, happy birthday to Debbie Weisburger Strachan and happy 1/2 birthday to my wonderful sister, Caroline.)
