Song of the Day: November 28, 2022

November 28:  They all hate us anyhow… “Political Science” by Randy Newman, who was born on this day in 1943.  This song may not hold up in 2022, but Randy Newman sure does; he was da bomb at Newport Folk Festival 2021.   Happy Birthday, also, to Claudia Marshall who, if she’s Singing Daily, will definitely get a kick out of singing this one. xoxo LYRICS & SONGFACTS APPLE MUSIC Natalie Merchant’s version

Song of the Day: November 25, 2022

November 25: All the world knows Nestor for his laughter and his ears… “Nestor, the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey”, the theme song from a 1977 TV Special written by Gene Autry, Don Pfrimmer and Dave Burgess.  No lyric video (here’s a link to the LYRICS), but this seemed an appropriate song as we kick off the winter holiday season AND celebrate the recent engagement of Molly Barreca & Brian Nestor.
