From January 1st, 2018 to August 3, 2023, I selected 2042+ recordings of songs by musicians ranging from Gershwin to Green Day, Marian Anderson to Maggie Rogers and then I emailed a link with a lyric video every morning to subscribers (if there wasn’t a lyric video already available, I often made one and posted it to the Sing Daily YouTube Page). The songs were also posted on the Sing Daily! Facebook and Instagram pages (as well as Twitter, until they weren’t).

T-60 Countdown
From June 5th to August 3rd, 2023 Sing Daily! posted 60+ of the songs that give me chills when I hear them, songs that are integral to the life I’ve lived so far.
The list of songs that give me that special feeling (not including any classical pieces, which would definitely include at least another 20 pieces) has more than 80 songs;  I wasn’t sure how I was going to wean the list down, but somehow, I did it.

I definitely repeated songs I’d already posted, but
It’s my party and I’ll repeat if I want to…

While it felt odd to be so publicly reflective, once I started writing, I didn’t want to stop. My memories of our childhood are so vivid.

Start anywhere and skip around (the list, I mean, but, come to think of it, skipping around the room is also a good idea).
